COUNTS AS TROOP STEALING
Adding without consent
Putting a player into your alliance, event roster, season signup, invasion list, defense list, or opening event list without them saying yes counts as troop stealing.
GAME RULES GUIDE
Effective July 1, 2026. Troop stealing means moving or recruiting a player into another alliance without that player's will or consent.
SHORT VERSION
Troop stealing happens when a player is added, enlisted, claimed, registered, or represented as part of an alliance without clearly choosing that alliance themselves.
Troop stealing is not allowed. A player must willingly agree before they are counted as a member, season troop, event troop, invasion participant, defense participant, or alliance representative.

COUNTS AS TROOP STEALING
Signing up, checking in, posting, or submitting proof under another player's name without permission counts as troop stealing and may also count as impersonation.
DOES NOT COUNT
Asking a player if they want to join your alliance does not count as troop stealing, as long as the player can freely say no.
DOES NOT COUNT
A player choosing to leave one alliance and join another does not count as troop stealing if the choice is actually theirs.
DOES NOT COUNT
Posting public recruitment messages, alliance openings, or tryout announcements does not count as troop stealing by itself.
DOES NOT COUNT
A transfer does not count as troop stealing when the player agrees and any required leader or staff review is completed.
PROOF AND REPORTS
Staff may check screenshots, signup logs, bot logs, event submissions, alliance records, Discord messages, and the player's own statement to decide whether the player willingly joined.
If troop stealing happened, staff may remove the player from the wrong roster, reverse a signup, correct event credit, issue warnings, restrict alliance tools, or apply other fair-play corrections.
Simple rule: do not count someone as your troop unless they actually wanted to be there.
